Data Protection & Privacy
Your Data, Protected.
Your genomic and health information is deeply personal. EvaGenomics is building its platform around privacy, transparency, participant choice, and controlled access to sensitive information.
Your choices.
Our responsibility.
How We Protect Your Data
Multiple layers of protection
EvaGenomics combines privacy policies, participant consent, contractual controls, and evolving technical safeguards to reduce risk across the data lifecycle.
Clear Consent
Sensitive health and genomic information is processed under defined privacy policies and consent workflows.
De-identification
For research use, names and contact information are removed from genetic information to the extent possible.
Purpose-Limited Access
Research entities may process EvaGenomics data only for the agreed services and purposes.
Partner Safeguards
Research partners are subject to contractual security, confidentiality, access, and data-use requirements.
Your Consent & Control
You decide how your data is used
Our consent framework separates the information needed to provide your service from optional research choices.
Consent is obtained before sensitive information is processed through the symptom checker and genomic analysis workflow.
You may separately choose whether de-identified personal and genetic information can be used for EvaGenomics internal research.
You may separately choose whether de-identified information can be disclosed to third parties for medical research.
Research participation is voluntary. You may withdraw research consent and request deletion subject to applicable legal and technical limitations.
How Research Sharing Works
Advancing discovery with your permission
Third-party research disclosure occurs only when the participant expressly consents. Research information is de-identified to the extent possible, recognizing that genomic information can carry a residual risk of re-identification.
Third-Party Safeguards
Research partners are held to defined standards
EvaGenomics uses contractual safeguards to restrict how research entities may access, process, retain, transfer, and use EvaGenomics data.
Controlled access for approved research
Research access is tied to participant consent and governed by contractual data-use and security requirements.
Continuous Improvement

Our Commitment
Genomic information deserves careful stewardship.
EvaGenomics is committed to building trust through transparency, participant choice, responsible research access, and continued investment in privacy and security as our platform grows.
EvaGenomics
Our Privacy Commitment
Your genomic and health information is deeply personal. EvaGenomics is committed to using sensitive information only for purposes that are explained to you and governed by your consent and applicable privacy requirements.
Our service-related processing is separated from optional research participation. Internal EvaGenomics research and disclosure to third-party researchers are separate research choices.
When information is used for research, names and contact information are removed from genetic information to de-identify the data to the extent possible. Because genomic data can be inherently identifying, we also recognize that no de-identification method can eliminate all risk.
Third-party research entities are subject to contractual restrictions governing permitted use, confidentiality, access, security, onward transfer, re-identification, and deletion or return of EvaGenomics data.
Our commitment is built around:
- Clear and transparent consent
- Separate research choices
- Purpose-limited data use
- Controlled third-party research access
- Contractual privacy and security safeguards
- Continued strengthening of our privacy and security program
